About Filita
Filita means ‘a friend of travellers’ in Ancient Greek. It’s not just our name, it’s how we work
We’ve spent years in Greece and the Mediterranean, building relationships with the people and places that make travel worth the effort
What you see here is what we’ve learned.
What We Do
We’ve built Filita around three things: a collection of stays we genuinely recommend, stories that help you see places differently, and travel planning when you need someone to handle the details.
Some people come here to browse and have us book their hotel. Others want us to design the whole trip.
We’re here for all of it.
Our Story
Filita was founded in 2017 by Anastasia Antonopoulou, born from something simple: friends asking where to stay, what to see, and how to experience Greece properly. Those conversations became itineraries. The itineraries became a way of travelling that felt personal and considered.
The name ‘filita’ felt right from the start. What began as one person’s perspective has become years of planning trips, building relationships with hotels, and knowing exactly which stays to recommend and why
Our Promise
We only recommend places we know, based on our own experience and our clients’ feedback. We visit properties regularly, stay in touch with owners, and pay attention to what’s changed.
Ferries might get cancelled, hotels have off days and plans can shift. That’s travel. But when you have someone who knows the ground and can help when things go sideways, it changes everything.
That’s what Filita is for.
