Domes White Coast

Milos Island, Greece

Why it made our list: Sleek, modern and adults-only, with a private pool for every suite and a nature reserve that keeps the view exactly as it should be. On this island, the sunset is the main event, and you’ll have one of the best seats in the house here.

At a Glance

Stark white cubism on the north coast of Milos, designed by Giorgos Tsolakis and built into a private nature reserve. Nothing interrupts the view, and everything here is arranged around that fact. The interiors follow the same logic: clean lines, neutral tones, floor-to-ceiling windows. The rooms are not oversized, but the private terrace and infinity plunge pool extend every suite into the landscape. The sea-view ones face due west. The light over Sarakiniko changes quickly in the evening and doesn’t repeat itself.

Stone paths lead down through the volcanic rock to the water. This is open sea and raw coastline, the kind of swimming that feels earned. Mytakas Beach is a short walk for anyone who wants sand.

This is Milos with a full-service hotel behind it. A restaurant on site, a bar, room service, and a main pool overlooking the sea. If you want to explore, the local team will point you to the right beach depending on the wind that day, the perfect taverna for the evening, a boat excursion for the day, and make every reservation along the way. If you’d rather not move, that’s entirely fine too.

Our Take: leek, full-service, and facing one of the best sunsets on the island. Book a sea-view suite and thank us later.

Elevated position, panoramic sea views, plunge pool on the terrace. The right starting point. 29 m² indoors, 13 m² veranda.

White Coast Suite Sea View with Private Pool

The flagship. The veranda is as considered as the room: 26 m² of outdoor space, infinity pool, and a view that makes the indoors feel beside the point. 31–38 m² indoors.
