Vione
Why It Made Our List: Brand new, confidently designed, and already the hotel that half of Paros is talking about. Vione opened in 2025 and arrived fully formed.

At a Glance
Forty suites on a cliff above Ampelas, every one facing the Aegean with Naxos dead ahead. The design is modern Cycladic with a sure hand: earth tones, natural stone, warm lighting and clean lines throughout. Twenty-eight of the suites have private pools. The main pool is 400sqm and stretches toward the horizon, and below it, the 800sqm Dione Spa has an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, hammam, sauna, aromatherapy shower cabin and a Technogym gym. Treatments by Phytomer and Thalgo. It has the composure of a hotel that took its time, even if it opened just last year.
White Cycladic volumes, warm timber screens, stone accents, and every room facing east across the water to Naxos. The east coast of Paros is the quiet side of the island, and the hotel leans into it. But this is not isolation. Naoussa is seven minutes by car, close enough for dinner, far enough that you do not hear it. The 400sqm pool and the island’s largest spa are reason enough to skip the drive entirely. Once a month, every light in the hotel is switched to candles for the evening, a deliberate slowing down that suits the mood here. Ampelas beach is three minutes on foot with free sunbeds for guests. You will leave eventually, but not because you need to.
The Filita Gist: Paros’s most polished new arrival. Private pools, a concierge that anticipates, and a first impression that usually takes hotels years to figure out.
Rooms We Love
The one to book. Separate lounge, king bed, and a 20sqm private pool with sea views. Ground floor, capacity 2+1. Only five of these. 47sqm.
Ground floor, private 10sqm pool, terrace, Naxos views. The most popular category and the backbone of the hotel. Fifteen available. 32sqm.
King bedroom, twin bedroom, two bathrooms, separate lounge, 20sqm pool. For two couples or a small group of friends. Only three available. 75sqm.
Dining
Vione by Mario is the hotel restaurant, an extension of the island’s Mario Restaurant. The cooking is refined Mediterranean with a Cycladic accent: carpaccios, sea urchin salads, ceviches, and the catch of the day. Communal table evenings run periodically.
A pool bar serves drinks and light bites through the day.
Breakfast is à la carte, with fresh juices, egg dishes, seasonal fruit and local flavours.
